Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using www.worldinreach.ca (the "Service"), operated by World InReach ('we', 'us', or 'our'). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
2. Your Account
To save itineraries, you must register using your email address through Clerk. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use www.worldinreach.ca to generate, customize, and save travel itineraries for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
- Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
- Use the Service to collect data about other users without their consent
4. Itinerary Content and Disclaimer
Itineraries generated by World InReach are produced by automated systems based on your preferences and are provided for planning and informational purposes only. We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any itinerary content, including hotel availability and pricing, attraction operating hours, transportation schedules, currency exchange rates, or travel advisories.
You are solely responsible for independently verifying all information before making any travel arrangements or bookings. World InReach is not a licensed travel agent and does not provide professional travel advice.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, design, and functionality of World InReach are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the itineraries you create and save. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display your itinerary data solely to provide the Service to you.
We may use aggregated, anonymized, and de-identified usage data for product improvement and business analysis. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
6. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with Clerk (authentication), Supabase (secure storage), and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
7. Payments
If World InReach offers any paid features or subscriptions, all payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card information. All transactions are subject to Stripe's Terms of Service and applicable laws.
8. Data Deletion
You may delete individual itineraries at any time from your saved itineraries. Upon deletion, your itinerary and all associated data are permanently removed from our database immediately. You may also request full account deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $50).
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Ontario, Canada.
